The random numbers were released today (Tuesday, 20th June) for the applicants online for admission to the engineering courses in Tamil Nadu.

Online application process for admission to the 550 and above engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu under Anna University was in progress from 1st May to 31st May. Admission for B. E. or B. Tech. Admission to the Courses will be offered through the single-window counselling sessions.

1.68 Lakh candidates applied online. Out of this, 1.40 Lakh applicants have sent the fully completed application forms to Anna University.

In order to prepare the merit list of the applicants, the random numbers for all applicants were released today (20th June).

The random number was released by Higher Education Secretary Sunil Paliwal in Anna University complex. Each applicant will get an exclusive random number.

Random number can be seen on the official website of Anna University https://www.annauniv.edu.

In the cases of 2 applicants getting the same cutoff mark, priority will be decided by the random number.
