CBSE – Aadhar card mandatory for UGC NET

CBSE has released a notification today (Wednesday, 26th July) that Aadhar card is mandatory for the UGC NET to be conducted in November.
In its press release, CBSE has mentioned that it is mandatory the applicants enter Aadhar card details as well along with other particulars.
Candidates who applied online need to bring the Aadhar card along with the hall ticket and entry card.
The online application for UGC NET is scheduled to start on 1st August.
Thus, the candidates must enter their Aadhar card numbers along with personal details.
The last date for applying to write UGC NET is 30th August. NET is scheduled on 5th November.
The CBSE Press Release notes that entry of Aadhar card details has been made mandatory in order to avoid any confusions in the online applications and also to ensure transparency of the process.
