The new textbooks for the 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards are being released on a gradual basis on the internet today (Wednesday, 23rd May) onwards.
The school syllabus, which had not been changed for a very long time in Tamil Nadu, is now being changed on a gradual basis from this year onwards. In the 1st Phase, the new syllabus will be introduced for the 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards. Subsequently, the revised syllabus for the remaining classes will be introduced gradually in the coming academic years.
In this situation, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, E. Palanisamy, released the new textbooks for the 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards on 4th May. The new Text Books will come on sale by this month end. The new textbooks for the above classes will also be released on the internet on 23rd may (today). Accordingly, the new textbooks are being released on the official website of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Education, Research and Training, www.tnscert.org today (23rd May).
The director of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Education, Research and Training and the member-Secretary of the New syllabus Committee, G. Arivoli, informed that the new textbooks, lessons-wise and class-wise will be uploaded on the internet based on the server capacity on the internet.
The textbooks for the school students for all subjects and classes can be seen on the website www.textbooksonline.tn.nic.in of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Education, research and Training.
In this trend and facility, arrangements have been made to upload the new textbooks as per the revised syllabus for the 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards on this as per the Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Education, research and Training.
