Students interested in joining the government polytechnics can apply from 29th April to 17th May.

The announcement released by the Technical Education Council mentions:

‘The applications forms to join the courses in the coming academic year offered by all the government polytechnics will be distributed in the respective colleges from 29th April to 17th May on all working days from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

Applications for certificate courses on industrial training will also be issued in the colleges in the above-mentioned period wherever it is offered.

Academic Qualifications: The applicants must have passed 10th Standard or equivalent. The cost of the application form is Rs. 150.  Candidates belonging to Pattiyal and Ancient Tribes are exempted from this fee. However, they need to present caste proof.

Candidates interested in getting the application forms personally can pay Rs. 150 in cash to the Principal and get the same. Those who are interested in getting the application form by post will have attach a Demand Draft for Rs. 150 on the principal’s name and a stamped and self- addressed envelope to the respective colleges.

The last date for receipt of the filled applications is 17th May.
