Online applications registering for the counselling sessions for admission to the graduate engineering courses such as B. E. or B. Tech. can be done on the website www.tneaonline.in from today (Thursday, 2nd May).

As there were differences in opinions between the State Government Department of Higher Education and Anna University, the counselling for this academic year is being conducted by the Technical Education Council.

For this year’s counselling, online applications can be sent from today (2nd May) right from the candidate’s residence or the 42 Engineering Counselling Assistance Centres. Websites: www.tndte.gov.in ORwww.tneaonline.in

The Engineering Counselling Assistance Centres have been set up just in order to help the candidates who do not have the internet facility.

In this scenario, the online registration for engineering counselling commences today (Thursday, 2nd May) to 31st May.

Subsequently, the random numbers will be released on 3rd June. Certificate/document verification would be done from 6th June to 11th June. The rank list or merit list will be released on 17th June.

The counselling schedule will commence on 20th June for the candidates of the special category (differently-abled, sports specialists, and ex-military personnel)

The counselling for the open community cadres is scheduled to commence on 3rd July. Divided into 5 Phases, the counselling for this open community cadre will be done online. It is planned to complete the counselling before 30th July.
