Chennai Girl secures All India third rank in CISCE results

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) had released the results of the ISC Class 12 and Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ISCE) Class 10 on Monday.

 

The total number of students in ISCE category is 1,83,387 and for ISC standard is 80,880 students. Totally 98.51 percentage cleared he ICSE standard and 96.21 percentage in ISC standard. Comparing the last year results there is a clear indication of increase in pass percentage this year.

 

Simran Avinash Somalinga from Sishya School, Chennai secured third rank in all India level in the ISC examinations conducted by CISCE. She has secured 99 in Chemistry, 100 in Math and 97 in English.

 

Simran said in the press meet of the CISCE results that she aims for pursuing her education in the field of Bio-engineering and Biotechnology abroad. She had already applied for many such universities and waiting for the results.

 

ICSE exams Tamil Nadu marked a total of 99.3% pass percentage which is higher than other states. Pavan Siddharth from Virudhunagar secured second rank with 98.75% and IDA Scudder School student, Sarah Christopher and Manan Goenka from Sishya School Chennai has scored third rank with 98.5 percentage.
