The public examinations for the +2 students were conducted in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from 1st March to 6th April.
866934 students from 6903 higher secondary schools and 40686 private students wrote the above public examinations making up for a total of 907620 students.
+2 results are scheduled to be released at 9.30 AM on 16th May (Wednesday).
As regularly done including the last year, the +2 results will be sent to the candidates through SMS to the respective cell phones.
The state examinations board has also arranged to send the tabled mark lists of the candidates to the respective schools through their email ids.
All the activities of the Tamil Nadu State Government Examination Board are now undertaken as an online process.
In order to prevent the schools from knowing the results in advance before the scheduled release, the state government examination board has adopted a new procedure this year to send the tabled mark lists of the students online.
The state government examination board will also be adopting a new facility whereby the various newspaper reporters can download the detailed analytical statistics regarding the +2 public examination results.
