Al-Ameen Engineering College, Erode

In 1984 the Al-Ameen Educational and Charitable Trust was founded by philanthropists from various professionals and industrialists, with an objective of providing quality technical education to the all sections of society in and around Erode. Adding incentive to these efforts of the trust is the newly-proposed Al-Ameen Engineering College, aimed at excelling in imparting Technical education for everyone in the Nation, regardless of social status. The College has been started in the year 2009 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Al-Ameen Engineering College is located at a distance of 10 km from Erode Railway Station and Bus Stand. The Campus is very safe and surrounded by the green environment. All class rooms and labs are ultra designed and spacious, provided with LCD and OHPs. The Central computing facility is with 2 Mbps Internet connections as a measure of the State-of-the Art with fully equipped ultra modern equipments and accessories and we are having highly competent, well qualified, more experienced faculties among the educational institutions around Erode. They are committed to their Profession.

100% Placement assistance is provided under the supervision of an experienced Placement Officer. To facilitate the students with ongoing industrial situations and evolutions they are being provided with Institute-Industry interface to familiarize about the corporate world/practices. RO Plant is implanted for the provision of Mineral water supply. The college offers the Merit Scholarship for the applicable students. The college also provides bus and hostel facilities.

The vast experience of the promoters, in training the students for all-round professional and soft skill development, will ensure every student to transform into an evolved individual and a highly employable professional.

• Admissions will be as per the guidelines of Government of Tamilnadu.
• Minimum eligibility: A pass in 10+2 (for SC/ST), with 50% (for OC), 45% (for BC), and 40% (for MBC) average marks scored in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, i.e., (Mathematics out of 200 + Physics out of 200 + Chemistry out of 200)/6.
• 65% seats (GQ) are admitted through Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) by single window admissions and the rest by the Management Quota (MQ) based on common ranking provided by the Consortium approved by the Govt.
• For GQ Anna University will issue the admission applications and for MQ, the Consortium applications can be obtained from the college.
• For Eligibility and admission to the first year of various programs, refer the Norms of Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai, TN and Anna University

Training
Al-Ameen Campus Placement Cell (ACPC) is dedicated in providing quality training to students to meet the growing demand for trained people and the changing needs of the companies and its clients.

Infrastructure
Department of Training and Placement consists of a modern office, interview rooms, Conference room, Group Discussions rooms, a spacious Waiting Hall, Auditorium, and three Seminar Halls.

Auditorium with state-of-art sound and projection system, two Group Discussion rooms and four interview cabins are exclusively available for pre-placement talks or sessions, and for conducting campus recruitment. Depending upon organization’s needs, more rooms can be arranged for GDs and interviews.

Also, we have 50 rooms available for written tests, be it the aptitude test or the technical test. 200 systems are available with LAN connection for online tests, with prior intimation.

Exclusive Guest Room and dining hall is available for corporate guests.

Based on the organizational requirements, on-campus and pooled recruitment drives can be organized at the campus as per corporal convenience.
