• Excel promotes value based education to all groups of people around the city and other nationals. In Excel we provide merit scholarship to the top graded students who have good aggregate score in their X STD or HSC Examinations.
• Each and Every academic year more number of students are getting merit scholarships through the SRET Trust of Excel Group Institutions.

• Excel provides various under graduate and post graduate courses in Engineering & Architecture discipline, Education and Management courses with the hi-tech laboratories for engineering, state-of-art facilities for architecture and with efficient online library resources.

• Admissions in Excel are based on the eligibility criteria of Tamilnadu government norms and they can visit the admission office in person or may enquire through on line / Phone registration.

• For B.Arch programme the admission is based on the scores in HSC or equivalent and should secure minimum eligibility marks in NATA entrance exam and can further apply as per the terms and conditions of Excel

• Candidate has to pass in HSC or equivalent with 50% Marks with Maths
• Candidate has to pass in NATA Entrance Exam
• Commerce, Science, Vocational & Diploma Scheme Candidates are also eligible
• Diploma in civil engineering candidates can join in first year of B.Arch Programme
• The candidate has to secure Minimum 80 Marks out of 200 (80/200), then only he/she will be eligible for admission.
• EXCEL College of Architecture & Planning provides coaching to the students to confidently take NATA test in our campus itself.

Our students enter into final year in 2013-2014. Elaborate arrangements are being made to find good campus placements in India and abroad.

Library:
Library is a store house of knowledge. Specialized collection of Books, Journals and Non-Book materials are available in Engineering and Technology, Science and Humanities. Highly qualified and efficient librarians ensure that best possible information service, standard textbooks and reference books by popular authors are stocked and every effort is made to obtain all titles recommended by the faculty. Multiple copies of important books are bought to make available to as many students as possible. The library automation software is implemented and digital library is equipped with multi-media system with dedicated storage server. Broad band internet connection, e-books, e-journals and more than 500 CDs covering all topics with free hand access are available to all students. The library is constantly updated by acquiring books and journals in different fields from time to time based on the needs.

Excel Institutions provide very good hostel facilities for students away from home for their education. In excel the hostel has a good infrastructure for both Boys and Girls students to stay comfortably. In hostel various activities and facilities are provided in an efficient manner. Excel hostels provide single, two and multiple member rooms. Over 3000 students can stay comfortably in Excel hostels.

Food: Nutritious and delicious food is served to match the taste of all inmates depending on their state of origin. A popular new Food Court is available, that serves delicious non-vegetarian and vegetarian food at reasonable prices in the campus.
