TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has announced that the counselling for the post of Junior Assistants for the successful candidates who wrote the Group-4 test from 17th July to 8th August.

The Group-4 written test for a direct appointment as Junior Assistant was conducted by TNPSC on 6th November 2016.

The test results were released on 21st February, In order to fill up the vacant posts, the 1st Phase of counselling will be conducted at the TNPSC office near the Chennai Broadway Bus Stand from 17th July to 8th August (except the general holidays).

The selected candidates have already been informed through SMS and e-mail. Further, the invitation for the counselling session has been sent to the candidates by Speed Post as well.

The candidates will be called for counselling based on the marks (in the written test), rank list, reservation quota, and the vacancy.

So, just being called for the counselling session is not a guarantee for the job/appointment. In case the candidate fails to turn up for counselling, no further opportunity will be given.
