Tamil Nadu students prefer to study medical courses in Philippines

Plenty of students from Tamil Nadu were eager to score high marks in +2 and intended to join medical courses, they were rather disappointed with the somewhat tough NEET. They are now unsure about the admission to the medical courses. Some of them have decided to go abroad to pursue their ambition of medical courses. They have applied for joining the medical colleges in the Philippines.

The Director of Limra Overseas Agencies explained that when pursuing higher level courses in China or Russia, the students need to spend 1 year learning the language apart from the severe winter.

However, the climate conditions are similar to our country in the Philippines, the students seem to prefer pursuing their medical courses here.

Limra is the authorized agency for the admission to Tao and Lyceum-Northwestern University.

Limra has organized for 600 Indian students to join the above colleges. It will cost Rs. 32 lakhs and Rs. 28 Lakhs to pursue medical courses at Tao and Lyceum-Northwestern University respectively – including the education fees, examination fees, hostel fees, travel, and other expenses. There is a provision to pay this in EMIs (equated monthly installments).

An office of Limra has been set up in Tao city in the Philippines in order to help the students who go there to pursue medical courses.

The students who join the courses in the Philippines can study and get the MCI (Medical Council Of India) qualification exam training in the 4th year of the course.

For the students joining this academic year to pursue medical courses in the Philippines, Limra is offering free MCI coaching classes worth Rs. 75000.
