State government appeal against the advantage of CBSE syllabus

The reservation of 85% of the seats to state board students and 15% for others in MBBS/BDS courses for the current academic year is the appeal State government filed for the better equality in Medical Seat admissions. Tamilnadu government in Madras High court challenged against the order of the single judge who ruled out the appeal of the state government earlier.
NEET-National Eligibility and Entrance Test was common criteria for all students. But the State insists that there is a evident inequality in this entrance test syllabus which is more oriented to the CBSE syllabus. The state board syllabus has only 50% of the whole composition of NEET Syllabus. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) itself prepares the question paper for this entrance test which is the added advantage for only CBSE students.
TN government states as per the Article 14 of the constitution, unequals cannot be treated as equals. Hence a 85% reservation for state board students can only bring a normalization in the admission process of MBBS/BDS.
The state board schools comprises of 80% of total number of schools in the state. The Tamilnadu government has its own right to enact a separate law according to its own agenda and state development.
