The state department of school education has announced that the parents can admit their children in free LKG classes till 25th July under the RTE (Right To Education) Scheme.

Under RTE, 25% of the seats in LKG classes are offered free admission.

During the `online’ admission conducted in June, 47129 students got admission in the free quota.

In this situation, the state government department of school education has announced that the parents can still apply for the balance vacant seats to admit their children in free LKG classes till 25th July. The website – www.dge.tn.gov.in

Free online registration for admission to free LKG classes can be done at the office of the district education officer, the office of the metric analysts, and Taluk centres. It can be done in government E-service centres as well.
