Rank list released for Veterinary Courses

The ranking list for Veterinary Courses was released yesterday (Friday, 30th June). P. Sowmya, belonging to the Dharmapuri Ancient Tribes, created a record by achieving 200 out of 200 cut-off marks.
The vice-chancellor Dr. S, Thilakar informed that 23012 candidates applied online for admission to veterinary courses. Out of this, 21339 candidates had applied properly with the fully filled application form with all the requisite attachments. Out of this, 20827 candidates qualified for the next phase.
11127 candidates are girls (53.43%). The percentage of 1st generation graduates is 45.71 – there were 9520 applications. The rank list has been subsequently released.
Separate ranking lists have been released for each course. For the veterinary course, in the top 10 ranks, there are 6 girls and 4 boys. The first 3 ranks, with full cut-off marks of 200/200, were secured by girls. P. Sowmya, belonging to the Ancient Tribes Community, has secured the 1st rank with 200/200 cut-off marks.
The counselling sessions are scheduled on 19th, 20th, and 21st July.
