NEET results will be announced shortly. The Director of Medical Education informed that the distribution of the application forms for admission to medical courses will commence immediately after the orders are issued by the state government of Tamil Nadu.

Recently, the Supreme Court cancelled the interim ban imposed by the Madurai High Court blocking the release of NEET results. The Supreme Court ordered yesterday (Monday, 12th June) that NEET results must be released before 26th June.

Subsequently, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has decided to release the NEET results immediately.

When the director of Medical Education was enquired about the possible dates for distribution of application forms for admission to medical courses, he replied that 2 types of application forms and guidebooks are ready for applying to medical courses based on the marks obtained in +2 and the performance in NEET.

The director informed that as soon as NEET results are released and the order from the Tamil Nadu State Government detailing the basis of admission is released, the applications and guide books will be corrected accordingly and then issued.
