The state minister for higher education, Anbazhagan, has informed that the counselling session for admission to the engineering degree courses, conducted by Anna University, is scheduled to commence on 17th July.

The minister informed in the Chief Secretariat that the counselling will commence on 17th July. The counselling sessions on 17th and 18th July will be for the Industrial Education segment. The counselling for the differently-abled candidates will be conducted on 19th July. The counselling for the candidates of sports segment will be conducted on 21st July.

The counselling for the common or general cadre candidates will be conducted from 23rd July to 11th August.

The minister also informed that the counselling for the year 2018 will be conducted online.
