It has been announced that the 150th Convocation ceremony of Chennai University will be conducted on 15th July.

As the post of Vice-chancellor of Chennai University has not yet been filled, the convocation ceremony was bring delayed. Now, Mr P. Duraiswamy has been appointed as the new Vice-chancellor of Chennai University.

Subsequently, the initiatives to conduct the convocation were taken up. The applications from the graduates were received.

Subsequently, an official announcement has been made that the 150th Convocation ceremony of the Chennai University will be conducted at the University Centenary Auditorium on 15th July.

The present Governor of Tamil Nadu and the chancellor of Chennai University, Mr Vidyasagar Rao will preside over the occasion.

It was also announced that the state minister for higher education and the co-chancellor of Chennai University, Mr K. P. Anbazhagan will participate on this occasion.
