Subsequently, the variously associated activities – correction of answer-sheets, entering the marks data on the computers, and verification, etc, were completed.

Further, the results are also intimated by SMS to the individual cell phone as given by the candidates.

Till now, as a general routine, the names and other details of the students who secured the 1st 3 places in the state and the districts were being released by the state examination board. The schools will announce the names of the 1st 3 candidates. These students were given award and prizes while appreciating their performances.

However, this ranking procedure seems to have increased the mental tension of the parents and relatives of the candidates. Even the students encountered different kinds of mental tensions. Many students, who could not secure the ranking, were led to take some shocking decisions. In order to prevent this trend, the system of announcing the ranking was stopped from the year 2017.

The state government examination board has informed that the ranking system announcement stands cancelled this year (2018) as well. Further, the education department has banned the system of the schools advertising with the names and photos of the students who secured high ranks.
